It's all about the Gemütlichkeit....

Where are you from?  An easy question...with an increasingly difficult answer.  For some reason, moving to Zürich has reignited my relationship with Milwaukee and Wisconsin.  Perhaps it is because I lived in Wisconsin five times longer than I lived in New Jersey...or because we have a son going to school in Madison...or because every time we go back to the US we spend almost as much time in the Midwest as we do in NJ...or because almost everyone I meet in Zürich has roots in the Midwest and it makes me feel like I belong...or because all of those fun words, expressions, and foods of my youth have been rediscovered in this German influenced country...or maybe......it's really just the cheese :)
